| Club commitments will force Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng to miss Wednesday’s friendly against South Africa.
Boateng is scheduled for a medical ahead of his switch to Italian side Genoa from Portsmouth in England.
The Black Stars will also be missing deputy skipper John Mensah, who is putting the finishing touches to his one-year loan agreement with Sunderland from Lyon.
The vice-president of the Ghana FA, Fred Pappoe, revealed the news to Joy Sports on Tuesday.
Locally-based player of Wa All Stars Bright Addae has subsequently been called up to replace the defender.
Richard Kingson will captain Ghana in the absence of Mensah for Wednesday’s international friendly against South Africa.
